The Thomas J. Sullivan Memorial Fund honors and remembers Tom, who passed away suddenly in his sleep on August 15, 2022 with his most loyal canine companion Frank by his side. Tom is survived by his parents Tom and Judi Sullivan and his beloved sister and brother-in-law Shannon Rose Sullivan and Nick Kilpela. Tom was known by many and had so very many endearing qualities. He was the best son and brother that anyone could possibly ask for. Loving, kind and an incredibly loyal friend, he was fun loving and had a fun and witty demeanor; he could comfort, was an amazing caretaker, and could make a person laugh at the drop of a hat. He loved all of his toys and he loved people. He made new friends wherever he went and always kept in touch with his long-time friends. To know Tom was to love him. He had many hobbies, especially spending time at the family home at Blue Lake in Mecosta – truly his "happy place". He loved boating, golfing, playing games, excelling at watersports and above all else, spending time with his family and friends. He will forever be the president of the Blue Lake Crew. Tom spent his career at Mercantile Bank in Mt. Pleasant, most recently as a commercial lender. Tom was dearly loved and will be missed beyond measure.

Established originally in 1999 by Tom’s parents, Thomas R. and Judith D. Sullivan, this donor advised fund will support the general welfare of the citizens of Isabella County forever.
