Fisher Companies Construction Education Scholarship Fund
The Fisher Companies Construction Education Scholarship Fund was established in 2024 and celebrated in 2025 as a part of the Fisher Companies’ 100th Anniversary Celebration, honoring a century of hard work, determination, unwavering faith and community involvement.
What began as a small sand and gravel operation in Midland, MI, has since evolved into a diverse group of companies, covering a wide-range of industries and geographic regions. Today, The Fisher Companies span multiple sectors, including heavy/civil contracting, concrete, asphalt, heavy-haul transportation, aggregate production, diesel engine systems, freshwater ports, and even a championship golf course. With operations now extending across the Midwest and Southeastern United States.
This scholarship fund was created to continue the legacy of growth in the construction industry and positive community impact, all while supporting students who pursue careers in construction. It aims to inspire recipients to uphold the organization’s long-standing tradition of excellence, hard work, and civic engagement. Fisher Companies seeks to empower the next generation of construction leaders who will shape the industry’s future and strengthen the communities they serve.
