J. Paul and Mary Ellen Janes Scholarship Fund

The J. Paul and Mary Ellen Janes Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship to a graduating senior from Mt. Pleasant High School or Sacred Heart Academy who intends to pursue a pre-law college curriculum with plans to attend law school.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

  • Student shall be a graduating senior from Mt. Pleasant High School or Sacred Heart Academy.

  • Student shall plan to attend an accredited college or university.

  • Student shall intend to pursue a pre-law college curriculum with plans to attend law school.

  • Student must demonstrate academic ability, with a minimum 3.5 grade point average, and community involvement.

  • Student shall have financial need.

Preference:

In selecting the most qualified applicant to receive the scholarship, reviewers should give preference to the student with the greatest financial need.
