L.A. and Marilyn B. Johns Family Fund

Among the families who participated in early establishment of the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation, Larry and Marilyn Johns created the L.A. and Marilyn Johns Family Fund in June, 1999. The purpose of the community impact fund is to support programs, services and projects that help address the ever-changing needs of Isabella County residents.

Hoping to encourage others to participate in philanthropic activity, the Johns found it important to establish a fund at the Foundation to provide a permanent record of the fact that their family believes in helping others who are less fortunate. The Johns created the fund as a way to provide a helping hand to people in the community.

The earnings from this fund will benefit our changing community for years to come.
