Harold and Marie Krapohl Scholarship Fund
Harold and Marie grew up in the Bay City area where she earned a degree as a registered nurse and Harold was manager of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. In 1950 the couple, with their three children, relocated to Mt. Pleasant where Harold and his brother Bob bought the Mt. Pleasant Ford Dealership. Their son Tom has followed in Harold’s footsteps, continuing the family tradition by co-owning the dealership with Bob’s grandson.
Marie is remembered as a caring, giving woman whose smile and kind words touched the souls of many. Harold is remembered for his desire to help others in need, by his fairness and by his wonderful sense of humor.
