Zitzelsberger Family Fund

Terrie and Mark Zitzelsberger, owners of Total Investment Planners Inc. in downtown Mt. Pleasant, have always believed in the importance of ‘investing’ in your community and raised their children to think the same. While their three children Chad, Lisa, and Troy attended Sacred Heart Academy, Terrie and Mark developed an appreciation for the values and faculty of the school.

As an aid to Sacred Heart Academy’s tuition scholarship program, the Zitzelsberger Family Fund was created within the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation. It is the Zitzelsbergers’ hope that these funds will assist families seeking to send their children to the Academy so they, too, can experience all it has to offer.

In an effort to include the whole family in the creation of the fund, Mark and Terrie encouraged their children to attend meetings and be involved in the process.Their middle child, Chad, named the new family fund as recipient of $1,000 in prize money after finishing second in a large charity race both in 2010 and 2011. Chad hopes that the fund will leave a family legacy while making the community a better place.
